pre-shoot / what to expect

I believe headshots are not just about capturing your personality, but also about clearly defining the types of roles you’re aiming for. When casting directors scroll through countless submissions, you want your headshot to stand out as the perfect fit for the roles you’re right for. In many ways, headshots are about branding—more than we may realize. That’s why I encourage actors to do a little homework before our session, to get crystal clear on the kinds of projects and characters you’re drawn to. I’ve created a questionnaire to help with this, which will also guide me in putting together a mood board for your wardrobe and the overall vibe of the shoot. This process ensures that your headshots not only reflect who you are but also position you exactly where you want to be in the industry.

Once we set a date and time for our headshot session, I require a $100 deposit which is non-refundable and goes toward the total balance. If you need to reschedule, the deposit is transferable up to two times for a future booking.

I’m happy to recommend hair & make-up artists (rates vary), or you are welcome to bring your own.
